Sam & Beth — Oliva Restaurant, Corfu
01 June 2024 | 60 guests | Elegant Olive Grove Concept
At Oliva Restaurant in Nissaki, Corfu, Sam & Beth’s wedding was designed around one core principle: refined simplicity with atmospheric impact.
Set within a natural olive grove overlooking the sea, the space was transformed into a fully immersive evening experience, where lighting, layout, and flow replaced the need for excessive floral volume.
Design & Execution
We developed a cohesive concept that seamlessly combined ceremony, dining, and celebration within the same environment. This allowed the event to evolve naturally, without disrupting the guest experience.
Our scope included:
- Full lighting design with warm fairy lights wrapped around olive trees and suspended overhead
- Elegant table styling with olive greenery runners, candles, and glass elements
- Spatial planning to support a fluid transition from dinner to party
- Styling of key focal points including welcome signage and guest guidance areas
Key Highlights
- Layered lighting strategy: Dense wrapping on tree trunks combined with softer overhead canopy lighting created depth and intimacy as the sun set
- Single-location experience: Ceremony and reception coexisted harmoniously, eliminating unnecessary movement and enhancing flow
- Live entertainment integration: The presence of live saxophone elevated the atmosphere into a high-energy, destination-style celebration
- Minimal floral, maximum effect: Strategic use of greenery and candles delivered a premium aesthetic while maintaining balance and elegance
The Result
The outcome was not defined by decoration alone, but by how the space felt throughout the evening.
From a calm, sunlit welcome to a vibrant, music-driven night under the lights, the event achieved a rare balance:
effortless luxury with strong emotional impact.
This project reflects our approach to destination weddings —
designing environments, not just setups.
